Maritime Penetration Testing
Protection of assets whether it be shipping, land or port side is more critical today than it has ever been.
Evolution and a process of continual improvement is essential not only to protect assets but also to meet the ever increasing requirements of insurance, vulnerability can be caused from many elements including poor operational practises, ineffective security equipment or poor processes and procedures.
Blue Mountain deploy experienced and specialist operators from a military and security background (SAS, SBS, Royal Marines) who will test, covertly or overtly, your defences.
We will then analyse the risks associated with this penetration testing and document how best to defend them, this is not just a risk assessment but is a careful assessment based on tried and tested principals gained from the Special Forces, Intelligence and Security Agencies.
Once engaged we provide you with a fully documented test plan and work with you to find an acceptable level of exploitation, we then define the rules of engagement for the operation.
Feedback is time critical but we will notify you immediately if the results include any crucial security flaws or any other event that would require emergency intervention for your organisation.

After completion of the Penetration Test we will report the findings and illustrate the techniques, analysis, and results of the assessment, we can then advise as to the best method of approach for problem resolution and equipment procurement.
The report can include:
- Executive summary
- Technical vulnerability report
- Design weaknesses
- Process weaknesses
- Electronic and Cyber Weaknesses
- Personnel and training weaknesses (social engineering)
- Other security weaknesses
- Recommended mitigation/remediation measures
- Other recommended actions on maintaining a secure environment
The ever-increasing volume, complexity and sophistication of attacks on organisations require that you maintain constant vigilance in all aspects of threat protection.
