Blue Mountain Close Protection Course is the first step for anyone wishing to embark on a career as a Close Protection Officer (CPO). The course offers the latest BTEC Accreditation for the Security Industry Authority (SIA) License.

- Threat and Risk Assessment

- Practical VIP Assignments – foot and vehicle
- Introduction to Kidnap for Ransom
- CPO Driving Techniques, Evasive and Defensive including J/Y-Turns, Fish Tailing
- Communications
- Venue Security Utilising Trained Dogs
- Search skills
- Survival Skills and Equipment
- Individual Profiles and CV Updated
Accredited qualifications:
- SIA License
- HSE Medical (if required)
- RoSPA Bronze, Silver or Gold Award for Driving within the Security Chauffeur Certification
- GSA in Conflict Management

Medical - Should you not have a relevant and current first aid certificate for your SIA license, then this can be added to the 15 day package or you can organise this yourself.
