Our courses inform, educate and empower female travellers to effectively achieve their objectives whilst remaining safe. They will ensure your female employees have the tools they need to stay safe whilst travelling.
As an organisation, meeting your obligation to provide a duty of care to female employees whilst travelling on business will help you attract and retain female employees, while successful overseas trips may increase the profitability and reputation of your organisation.
As an individual, our course will make you more aware and allow you to gather more information of what is going on around you. You will be able to make sound and safe decisions about your safety, allowing you to work unhindered and unharmed.
- A short welcome and introduction from your instructor for the day and a chance to introduce
yourself to each other
- Personal Safety and Situational Awareness
- Verbal reasoning and De-escalation techniques
- Practical training and defending yourself from attack
- The Good Ally
- Reporting, aftercare and self-care
The key to this training is to give you the essential skills to become more aware of your surroundings and to make decisions that prevent or deter an attack. However, we will spend the final session of the day discussing after care and reporting procedures in the unlikely event that you experience violence.
Please note – any information shared within these sessions will be in confidence and we aim to make a safe space for you to feel comfortable and relaxed during your day with us.
