Course Overview

This 3-day HEFAT® course originally designed for front line media workers, it has now become our most popular course, attended by a wide range of clients including:

  • News gathering and Production media
  • NGO’s and humanitarian workers

  • Anyone who lives, works or travels in volatile areas worldwide.
  • Companies who wish to fulfil their Duty of Care obligations for staff deployed to High Risk areas overseas

This is a 3-day residential course held at Blue Mountain’s training facility near London. Available elsewhere, on request.

Course Fees

Blue Mountain’s Hostile Environment First Aid Training (HEFAT®) courses are quoted on a case by case basis; please contact us with your specific requirements. As a minimum, our fee includes:

  • Blue Mountain’s Hostile Environment First Aid Training (HEFAT®) certification (valid for three years) plus, if required, a HABC Level 3 Emergency First Aid At Work (RQF) Certificate, also valid for three years
  • Before expiry of your HEFAT® certificate, you can attend the 2-day Refresher course to renew your certificate for a further 3 years. Please ask for further details.
